2 CHP officers injured in Palmdale rollover accident
Two California Highway Patrol officers were hospitalized on Saturday following a rollover accident in Palmdale. The incident occurred on the 14 Freeway's southbound lanes near Barrel Springs Road around 6:45 p.m., as reported by CHP officials. While details leading to the incident are still uncertain, social media video footage captured the patrol car overturning and coming to rest on its side. Both officers were transported to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures, but no serious injuries were reported by CHP officials. The crash involved only the CHP vehicle, and a SigAlert was issued at 7:20 p.m. for investigation, which was concluded before 9:10 p.m.
