18-year-old from Watertown dies in single-vehicle crash in Dodge County
An 18-year-old resident of Watertown tragically lost his life in a car accident on September 6 in the town of Shields as reported by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road Q and Pit Road. Reports indicate that the young driver, traveling north in a 2006 Acura sedan, lost control and collided with several trees before coming to rest approximately 50 yards away from the road. Regrettably, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the sheriff's office has chosen not to disclose the identity of the victim.
