18-year-old dies in Middleboro collision
An 18-year-old man from East Bridgewater passed away following a single-vehicle accident in Middleboro early on Sunday morning. Police arrived at Marion Road around 2:30 a.m. to find a car had collided with a tree and the driver was trapped inside. While bystanders managed to assist the passenger out of the car, firefighters had to extract the driver. The driver was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead by authorities. The passenger also suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
