18-wheeler driver stops crash in Burleson County - KWKT
An 18-wheeler driver in Burleson County showed quick thinking to prevent a serious accident, according to Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios. The driver was heading north on State Highway 36 when a vehicle from FM-60 pulled in front of them. The truck driver maneuvered to avoid hitting other vehicles, potentially averting injuries. Sheriff Rios happened upon the scene on his way to a meeting at Somerville rail yard with BNSF Railroad to discuss the intersection's lights. A BNSF representative promised to address the incomplete functionality of the lights.
