
17-year-old dies after being hit on I-95 following car accident
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday night in Richmond, Virginia, where a 17-year-old girl lost her life after being struck on I-95 following a car crash. The Virginia State Police reported that the collision involved two vehicles in the left lane around 8:45 p.m. One car, a Toyota, pulled over to the shoulder, while the other, a Honda, remained partially in the left lane. The teenager, a resident of Crewe, Virginia, was in the Honda and exited the vehicle, potentially to check the damage. Unfortunately, she was hit by an oncoming driver in the left lane who then veered off the road and struck a guardrail. Tragically, the girl passed away at the scene. Family members of the girl were in one of the involved vehicles and were informed of the heartbreaking news at the site.
