17-year-old boy identified as victim of Lancaster County fatal crash

The Pennsylvania State Police have identified a 17-year-old boy as the victim of a fatal crash that happened on April 22 in Lancaster County. Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8. The 17-year-old was driving a 2005 Honda Accord northbound on Twin County Road in Carnarvon Township at 60 mph when he lost control of the vehicle. The Honda hit a dirt embankment, swerved over the yellow line, hit trash cans and several trees, and then traveled down another embankment, hitting more trees before coming to a stop.The 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger of the vehicle, an 18-year-old man, was injured in the crash and transported to Reading Hospital.
