16-year-old boy severely injured in accident on DuSable Lake Shore Drive
A 16-year-old boy was severely hurt after colliding with a tree while driving on DuSable Lake Shore Drive late Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 11:11 p.m. in the 3300 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when the teenager lost control of his car and hit a tree in the median. Chicago police reported that the boy sustained numerous injuries and was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported, and authorities are currently investigating the crash.
