
13-year-old rodeo contestant dies in Wyoming plane crash
New information has come to light regarding the tragic plane crash near Sheridan that resulted in the loss of a 13-year-old girl named Amelia Palmer. Amelia, a Boise, Idaho resident known for her active participation in rodeo pageants, tragically lost her life when the aircraft she was traveling in experienced an accident just minutes after departure. Her parents, Earl Palmer, 54, and Cindy Palmer, 53, were critically injured in the crash and were airlifted to hospitals in Billings, where they are currently in critical condition. Also on board was the family's 11-year-old son, Aeron Palmer, who fortunately sustained only minor injuries. Aeron, despite the challenges, managed to make an emergency call for help after the crash, as the plane's radio had a broken antenna. The Miss Junior Rodeo Idaho organization honored Amelia's memory on social media, reflecting on her positive impact and joyful spirit.
