12th Street overpass partially closed due to two-car collision on Sunday
A car accident involving two vehicles occurred on a Sunday, where one car veered off the road and nearly ended up on the railroad. Emergency calls were made at approximately 3:30 p.m. reporting the collision at the corner of 12th Street and East Bayfront Parkway. The City of Erie Fire Department responded to discover one vehicle with damage to its front end and another that had strayed off the road, stopping near the 12th Street underpass. As a result, the westbound lane of the 12th Street overpass was closed temporarily.
