10-year-old girl from Grand Haven dies in ATV accident
A 10-year-old girl from Ottawa County has tragically passed away following an ATV accident in a location near Ludington, Michigan. It was reported by UpNorthLive, the NBC affiliate based in Traverse City, that the incident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Friday at a residence about 15 miles northeast of Ludington. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the girl, who hailed from Grand Haven, was operating the ATV when she lost control, leading to a rollover that resulted in her being trapped underneath. Despite efforts by emergency responders to resuscitate her, she was declared deceased at the scene. Another 14-year-old girl was also on the ATV during the incident and sustained minor injuries.
