10 injured, 9 children, in Orlando accident with Alpha Romeo, Nissan: Authorities

The Orlando Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Raleigh Street that resulted in injuries to 10 people, including nine children. Emergency crews found an adult trapped in a vehicle near Campanella Avenue, and after being freed, the female driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert. Nine children were transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The crash involved a speeding Alpha Romeo that rear-ended a Nissan Altima, causing it to hit a tree. Authorities are investigating the incident and questioning the driver of the Alpha Romeo. The identities and conditions of the victims have not been disclosed, and it is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
