Tragically, a multi-vehicle collision on the 10 Freeway in Ontario claimed the lives of three individuals and left four others in need of hospitalization on Tuesday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene on the westbound lanes of I-10 just west of the I-15 Freeway after receiving reports of the incident around 1:15 p.m. Although the cause of the crash remains unknown, law enforcement confirmed the three fatalities at the scene, with the condition of the four hospitalized individuals not immediately available. As a result of this incident, a SigAlert was issued closing all westbound lanes except for FasTrak and the I-10 and I-15 connector road. Drivers were urged to find alternative routes due to heavy traffic and significant delays. Aerial footage captured by SkyCal revealed the aftermath, showing multiple vehicles, including semi-trucks, a truck with a trailer, a pickup truck, and two cars, all sustaining significant damage in the collision.
