1 person killed, 1 in critical condition following crash in Stratford
A fatal single-car crash occurred in Stratford early Saturday morning, resulting in one person dead and another in critical condition, according to local police. The tragic incident took place around 3:35 a.m. on Nichols Avenue when the vehicle collided with a tree. The car was carrying five individuals aged between 16 and 24. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Ryan Frank Julian, succumbed to his injuries, while a second person was hospitalized with life-threatening wounds and is currently in critical condition. The other three occupants sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
