1 person injured as car collides with Beverly Grove apartment complex

Emergency responders arrived at the scene near Orange Street and Sweetzer Avenue after reports of the crash around 5:30 p.m. A Land Rover Defender 90 SUV had collided into an apartment building, causing it to tip over against a tree, while an old Volkswagen Beetle sustained significant damage on the driver’s side. The Los Angeles Fire Department stated that the injured person was transported to a local trauma center for medical attention. Auto debris was scattered on the road as nearby residents watched the scene unfold. Authorities have not released further details, including the crash's cause, as investigations are ongoing. Building and Safety inspectors were also called to evaluate any potential structural damage.
