
1 person in critical condition after driver chased by police crashes into school bus
A serious accident in Madisonville involving a school bus and a car led to one individual being hospitalized with severe injuries. Emergency responders from Cincinnati Fire were quick to arrive at the scene at the intersection of Red Bank and Duck Creek roads on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the crash was a result of a pursuit on I-71 that ended in a collision between the car and a Forest Hills School District bus. Fortunately, the driver, a staff member, and a student on the bus escaped unharmed. The driver of the car was reported to be in critical condition upon being taken to the hospital. While details regarding the pursuit remain limited, authorities assure ongoing investigations into the incident. The Cincinnati police are in charge of the crash investigation. Forest Hills School District clarified that the bus involved was not part of its regular transportation service but was on an extracurricular trip.
