1 killed, 5 hurt in 3-car collision on Fort Worth highway, per police
Authorities in Fort Worth reported a fatal three-vehicle collision on I-35, which resulted in one death and five individuals being taken to the hospital. Police responded to the incident on the southbound lanes near 5500 South Freeway after witnesses described two cars being involved in the initial crash, followed by a third car colliding with one of the disabled vehicles. The victim who died was pronounced dead at the scene, while the conditions of the five others remain unknown. The crash caused the closure of all southbound lanes until approximately 7 a.m. The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident, and the identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
