1 killed, 1 wounded in Federal Way, WA accident
Law enforcement officials are currently looking into a fatal collision that took place in Federal Way on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when two vehicles crashed on South 320th Street near the I-5 interchange. According to reports, one of the drivers, a 26-year-old woman, was traveling eastbound and veered into the westbound lanes, resulting in severe injuries. Despite the prompt life-saving efforts by officers, the woman passed away at the scene. The other driver involved was extricated from his vehicle and transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries, though his current condition remains unknown. Authorities discovered evidence of alcohol consumption inside the woman's car and witnesses described her driving recklessly prior to the accident. A subsequent autopsy will ascertain whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
