One individual lost their life in a tragic incident on Interstate 440 in Raleigh on Friday night, according to the Raleigh Police Department. The collision occurred close to 9 p.m. near the Wake Forest Road and Six Forks Road exits. Law enforcement has yet to disclose the identity of the deceased. As a result of the crash, all lanes heading west on I-440 between Wake Forest Road and Six Forks Road are currently shut down, with no estimated time for reopening.
