1 fatality, 4 wounded in 805 highway crash.
One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that took place this morning on the I-805 freeway near the Palm Avenue exit, as reported by the San Diego Fire Department. Four others sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The collision caused the closure of all southbound lanes on the 805 freeway north of 43rd Street, as confirmed by California Highway Patrol officers.
