1 fatality, 2 wounded in Sheboygan County crash
A fatal accident occurred in Sheboygan County on Friday, Aug. 1, resulting in one person losing their life and two others sustaining injuries. The incident took place in Plymouth at the intersection of State Highway 23 and Pleasant View Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office reported that a collision happened between a vehicle traveling east on Highway 23 and another vehicle turning south onto Pleasant View from the westbound lane. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 45-year-old individual from Sheboygan, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. The westbound vehicle's driver, an 82-year-old woman from Sheboygan, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was also hospitalized. Unfortunately, the 80-year-old male passenger in the westbound vehicle passed away at the hospital due to the injuries sustained in the crash.
