1 fatality, 2 airlifted, 8 transported by EMS following collision with city bus and car

According to officials at the coroner's office, a tragic incident involving a city bus occurred in Anderson, South Carolina. The crash occurred prior to 1 p.m. at the intersection of Michelin Boulevard and Roush Street, when a car veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the bus. The response teams quickly mobilized additional support given the severity of the situation. Emergency services from various agencies, including the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, Anderson County EMS, and others, were dispatched to the scene. Regrettably, one individual lost their life, while two others were airlifted to the hospital and eight were transported by ambulance. It was noted that three individuals declined medical attention. The authorities have identified the deceased as Kellie Cason Griffin, aged 60, from Williamston.
