1 fatality, 1 injured in fatal Travis County collision.
A fatal collision occurred in Travis County, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to another. The incident took place at 7 a.m. on Oct. 20 on SH 130 near FM 973. The Texas DPS reported that a Chevrolet work van was stationary on the shoulder when a Ford F-550 collided with it. The driver of the work van passed away at the scene, while the truck driver was transported to a nearby hospital. The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
