1 fatality, 1 critically injured in San Jose 3-car collision
Three vehicles were involved in a fatal crash in San Jose over the weekend that resulted in one person's death and another being critically injured. The incident occurred on Foxworthy Avenue near Jarvis Avenue. A GMC Denali attempted to pass a Subaru Forrester on the right, causing a collision that led to a head-on crash with a Honda CR-V. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, while the GMC driver sustained life-threatening injuries. The Subaru driver was unharmed. The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner will release the Honda driver's identity after informing her family. This marks the city's 31st fatal collision and traffic death of the year.
