1 dead following car crash in Dutchess County
CLINTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person is dead following a car crash in the town of Clinton on Feb. 11, according to New York State Police. The incident reportedly occurred on the Taconic State Parkway near mile marker 59.1 at about 11 p.m. State Police said a GMC was traveling southbound when it hit Shutong Li, 34, of Chappaqua, who was outside of his car in the right lane. The GMC then allegedly continued southbound and hit Li's disabled car, which was partially parked on the shoulder. Li was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead due to serious injuries sustained in the crash, according to police. The driver of the GMC was not injured and remained at the scene with police.
