1 dead after SUV, motorcycle crash in Queensbury
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened Thursday night on Quaker Road near Lafayette Street in Queensbury. Dylan Calabrese, 26, of Fort Edward, died from his injuries at Glens Falls Hospital. Deputies said around 9:02 p.m., a Duanesburg man in a 2022 GMC Terrain was driving west on Quaker Road and tried turning left to continue south on Lafayette Street. He then collided with a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Calabrese while making the turn. Calabrese was pronounced dead at the hospital. A part of Quaker Road was closed for several hours Friday night. No on else was injured in the crash. The Sheriff's Office's Traffic Safety Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit are still investigating the crash. No charges have been filed in the case as of Friday.
