1 dead, 4 injured in Greenville County collision

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- One person died and four people were injured Sunday after getting into a car crash in Greenville County. Officials with South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 7:23 p.m. on U.S. 25 near the intersection of West Marion Road. A 2022 Tesla was heading south on the highway when the vehicle struck a 2005 Chevy Malibu that was attempting to leave a private driveway. The passenger of the Chevy died at the scene, officials said. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not yet identified the individual who died. The drivers of both cars involved, along with two additional passengers, were taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries. This is a developing story.
