1 dead, 2 injured in Greeley crash on Monday morning
DENVER (KDVR) — One person was killed, and two others were injured in a crash in Greeley on Monday morning, according to a social media post from the Greeley Police Department on Tuesday. Around 5:20 a.m. on Monday, Greeley police responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash in the 5800 block of 10th Street. Investigators determined that a Honda CR-V being driven by a 33-year-old woman eastbound on 10th Street crashed into a Chrysler sedan being driven by a 45-year-old traveling in the opposite direction. First responders extricated the women from the vehicles and began life-saving measures until the drivers were taken to a hospital. The driver of the CR-V later died from her injuries while at the hospital. The driver of the Chrysler has been released from the hospital, while a 38-year-old man who was the passenger in the CR-V remains in the hospital in stable condition. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Ed Kubala at [email protected].
