1 dead, 1 injured in 2-vehicle crash on Highway 41 in Marion County, South Carolina
A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Marion County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP). SCHP says the collision happened on Highway 41 near Ponderosa Road. Officials said two vehicles were involved: a 1997 Toyota Corolla and a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. Officials said the crash occurred when the Toyota was traveling north on Highway 41 and the Hyundai was traveling north on Highway 41 when both vehicles collided at the intersection. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
