1 dead, 1 hospitalized after crash on Lakeview Drive in Fairfax County
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police in Fairfax County are investigating a crash that left one dead and another hospitalized Sunday evening. Minutes before 7:30 p.m. on April 20, officers responded to the 6400 block of Lakeview Drive in Lake Barcroft for a single-vehicle crash. The driver, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police noted that medics took a passenger to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Sunday evening, Fairfax County police shut down Lakeview Drive and Jay Miller Drive in both directions. The victim's name has not yet been released.
