Zubeen Garg dies while scuba diving in Singapore

Zubeen Garg, a well-known Assamese singer, tragically passed away while in Singapore for the North East India Festival, where he was set to perform. Despite receiving CPR after experiencing breathing difficulties while scuba diving, Garg did not survive and was pronounced deceased at the Singapore General Hospital at around 2.30 pm India time. Zubeen Garg was acclaimed for his contributions to music and films in Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi languages. In 2022, he also had a minor head injury incident in Dibrugarh. His notable works include the song 'Ya Ali' from the film Gangster and 'Dil Tu Hi Bataa' from Krrish 3. Garg's influence extended to acting and directing movies, with successful films like Kanchanjunga, Mission China, Dinabandhu, and Mon Jai in his repertoire.
