Youthful female faces charges for fatal pursuit, collision
A 17-year-old girl named Dashauna Egerson has been charged with reckless homicide, among other charges, after admitting to causing a fatal crash by running a red light during a police chase. The incident resulted in the deaths of three innocent people. Egerson was arrested at Children's Wisconsin hospital in Milwaukee after the crash. She initially denied driving the vehicle but later admitted to being the driver after seeing body camera footage. If convicted on all nine felony charges, she could face 168 years in prison. Another person involved in the incident, Trevon Loston, also faces charges and could potentially receive nearly 20 years in prison if convicted.
