Young woman killed in car accident involving fallen tree near Springfield
In Greene County, Missouri, a 20-year-old woman from Springfield tragically lost her life in a storm on Sunday. She was driving a 2017 Honda CR-V on Meadowlark Drive when a large tree fell onto her vehicle due to strong winds from the severe storms at around 4:50 p.m. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, and her family has been informed of the heartbreaking news. This marks the 55th fatal crash in MSHP Troop D for 2025.
