Wrong-way driver on I-90 leads to one arrest

A driver was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police after causing damage to multiple vehicles by driving the wrong way on a local interstate. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 17, around 9:40 p.m. on Interstate 90 near mile marker 18. The 57-year-old man from Jamestown was reported to have entered the eastbound lanes of I-90 while traveling westbound on the eastbound off-ramp at exit 18. His vehicle collided with a semi-trailer, leading to significant damage, before hitting another car and pushing it into a different semi-trailer. The man was apprehended for driving under the influence, with charges pending upon the completion of a toxicology report. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. At the scene, Pennsylvania State Police received assistance from the McKean Hose Company, West Ridge Fire Department, Eddie's Collectibles, and Dave's Autow.
