Woman saved from gas leak at Brook Highland home after SUV crashes
A woman was rescued from her SUV in Birmingham after driving into a home in the Brook Highland neighborhood. According to the Cahaba Valley Fire Department, the woman veered off Brook Highland Drive, crashing into a brick wall that partially collapsed onto her vehicle. She was safely removed from the vehicle and taken to a hospital, with expectations of recovery. Fortunately, no one inside the home was hurt.
