Woman from the area dies in SUV rollover incident
A tragic incident occurred in Washington Township, Stark County, Ohio, when a 45-year-old woman from Alliance lost her life in a car crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the woman was driving a 2015 Cadillac Escalade, which veered off the road, hit a ditch, culvert, and mailbox, and then overturned multiple times. The accident took place on Sunday, Sept. 21, at approximately 6:19 p.m. on Beech Street NE near Oakhill Avenue NE. The driver, Alisha Broad, was the sole individual in the vehicle and unfortunately was not wearing a seat belt. Authorities have not determined if alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident, as investigations are ongoing.
