The incident involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle just before 4 p.m. According to the New York State Police, the accident was caused by a white Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by Samuel L. Stoner, 35, from Clifton Park, losing control on the slushy road. The trailer jackknifed into the westbound lane, leading to a collision with a Ford Escape operated by Tracy L.
