Woman from Glenville facing additional charge in deadly pedestrian accident
A Glenville woman accused of hitting a Saratoga Springs resident with her car is facing a new charge after the pedestrian passed away. Morgan Lange, 33, had initially been charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter by State Police. The incident occurred when emergency responders were alerted to a parking lot in Malta and found Joshua Soden trapped under Lange's vehicle in September. Soden, who suffered severe injuries including traumatic brain damage, was taken to Saratoga Hospital and later transferred to Albany Medical Center, where he sadly died. Lange, who was reported to have a blood alcohol content of 0.12% at the time of the collision, faces several charges including vehicular assault and tampering with evidence. Troopers are anticipating further charges as the investigation continues. To help with medical and funeral expenses, a GoFundMe page has been set up for Soden's family.
