Woman confesses to leaving car after Thessaloniki accident injuring two
A 45-year-old woman suspected of leaving her car at the scene of a serious road accident in Thessaloniki early on Friday has confessed to being the driver. Following her surrender to authorities, she was held by police and underwent a breathalyzer test during her initial statement, revealing she exceeded the legal alcohol limit. She was then brought to the hospital for additional blood testing to validate the findings. Her abandoned Porsche was located on a Thessaloniki highway with evident damage. The collision resulted in a man and a woman becoming trapped in their vehicle, which collided with the Porsche. Emergency responders had to extract the injured individuals before transporting them to AHEPA Hospital for ongoing care.
