Western Avenue lanes closed due to car collision
A vehicle accident in Guilderland, N.Y. has resulted in the closure of all eastbound lanes and one westbound lane on Western Avenue between Devonshire Drive and Winding Brook Drive. According to 511NY, the crash happened at 9:50 a.m. The Guilderland Police Department informed NEWS10 that a car veered off the road and hit a telephone pole near Prospect Hill Cemetery, causing wires to fall. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, while also being cited with traffic law violations.
