Weiser police probe pedestrian's death in morning crash
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning in Weiser, resulting in the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle, as reported by the local police. The accident occurred close to the intersection of Sunset Drive and Westlawn Avenue at approximately 10:47 a.m., according to the Weiser Police Department. Despite the efforts of emergency responders from various departments including the Weiser Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Weiser Rural Fire Department, and Weiser Ambulance, the victim could not be saved. The individual was rushed to Weiser Memorial Hospital but was later pronounced dead. At this time, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed as authorities are in the process of notifying their family.
