A man was in critical condition after being pulled from a severe car accident in Reseda on Tuesday afternoon, as reported by officials. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a two-car rollover near 18900 W. Parthenia St. at around 1 p.m. Video from KTLA showed a white SUV with significant front-end damage and a white or gray pickup truck on its side, with clear damage along its passenger side. An unidentified man, estimated to be around 35 years old, was found lying on the road beside the flipped pickup truck. It's uncertain whether he was ejected during the crash, but bystanders and law enforcement were helping the injured man who appeared to have shoulder, back, and head injuries. The group signaled for medical assistance while also assisting the firefighters in securing the scene and the severely damaged vehicle. The truck had lost its roof, bed, and windshield as a result of the impact. Specifics on the crash remain limited with no identified cause yet. The LAFD revealed that the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, with no other reported injuries. Animal control was contacted regarding kittens discovered in one of the vehicles, but fortunately, they were unharmed. Parthenia Street was temporarily closed in both directions with drivers advised to avoid the area. Nidia Becerra and Christopher Martinez were among the contributors to this report.
