Video captures fatal collision on Mount Paran road
Newly acquired footage captures the tragic accident where a driver allegedly speeding crashed into another vehicle, resulting in the death of a passenger. The incident occurred at an intersection in northwest Atlanta, leading to severe injuries to the occupants of the vehicle hit. The video, recorded by former FOX 5 reporter Stacey Elgin, shows the moment of impact, as well as the fleeing driver abandoning his vehicle after the collision. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Buck Rollins, was later arrested and charged with several offenses, including first-degree vehicular homicide. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, a 62-year-old passenger from the other vehicle succumbed to their injuries. The driver and another passenger from the impacted car were also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
