Victims of Reno County crash on Monday identified

Nickerson, Kansas (KSNW) - Authorities have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a fatal accident in Reno County. The victims were Nicholas Brilhart, aged 31, from Sterling, and Sharon Davis, aged 66, from Weston, West Virginia. The incident occurred on K-96/K-14 near the 82nd Avenue bridge. Currently, two injured individuals, including an infant, are still hospitalized in Wichita. According to the Reno County Sheriff's office, the collision involved a silver Subaru SUV traveling northbound on the highway, which veered into the southbound lanes, resulting in a head-on impact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries, was treated at a hospital in Lyons, and later released. Eyewitnesses who stopped at the scene provided assistance to the victims until emergency services arrived on-site.
