Veterans Parade float in Downtown Fresno hit by car
In Fresno, California, a man driving a KIA Soul caused a collision with a parade float just before it was set to participate in the Veterans Parade in downtown Fresno on Tuesday morning. Police attributed the crash to a medical emergency suffered by the driver, described as an epileptic seizure. The incident occurred at the intersection of Fulton and Santa Clara streets at approximately 11 a.m. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported among those on the Caltrans float. The official identity of the KIA Soul driver has not been disclosed.
