The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office received various reports of incidents from Oct. 2-5, with some complaints not listed. On Oct. 2, there was a two-car property damage collision in Filer Township at 10:01 a.m., a deer dispatch request in Filer Township at 10:22 a.m., and a civil standby in Springdale Township at 1:16 p.m. On Oct. 3, a vehicle collided with a deer in Filer Township at 9:19 a.m., a suspicious situation was reported in Arcadia Township at 7:13 p.m., a disturbance complaint in Bear Lake Township at 7:21 p.m., another suspicious situation in Norman Township at 8:02 p.m., a vehicle-deer accident in Marilla Township at 8:22 p.m., another vehicle-deer accident in Maple Grove Township at 10:08 p.m., and a suspicious situation in Springdale Township at 11:26 p.m. On Oct. 4, trespassing was reported in Cleon Township at 5:02 a.m., assistance was provided in Dickson Township at 7:36 p.m., and a missing kayaker was found in Norman Township at 8:17 p.m. On Oct. 5, a noise complaint in Norman at 1:37 a.m., a suspicious situation in Manistee Township at 12:30 p.m., a vehicle crashing into a tree in Pleasanton Township at 1:14 p.m., a vehicle hitting a deer in Marilla Township at 3:57 p.m., and a two-car property damage crash in Manistee Township at 7:35 p.m.
