UPS Airlines president addresses public post-Louisville plane crash

Bill Moore, the president of UPS Airlines, expressed his deep sadness and condolences for the tragic event, stating that UPS is working closely with the families of the victims to offer any needed support. Cleanup efforts at the crash site are ongoing to ensure safety for nearby businesses. Efforts are also being made to replace a gas pipeline along Grade Lane. The Metropolitan Sewer District reported containing approximately 95% of the oil runoff from the crash, which equated to about 880,000 gallons of contaminated liquids being removed from waterways in southwest Louisville. The mayor mentioned that over half a million dollars has been raised to support the crash victims and their families.
