Two people hospitalized following multi-car collision in open-road toll lanes in Hampton
Authorities are seeking to talk with a driver believed to have caused multiple accidents on Interstate 95 in Hampton. The series of collisions occurred on Thursday morning around 6:40 a.m. According to investigators, a white vehicle abruptly stopped in the toll lanes before quickly moving. This unexpected maneuver resulted in a chain reaction, with the driver behind having to brake suddenly, leading to a three-car collision. Additionally, two tractor-trailers ended up colliding as they tried to avoid the initial crash. As a precaution, two individuals were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
