Two individuals injured in motorcycle accident on Harshman Road

Police in Dayton, Ohio are looking into a motorcycle accident that happened around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1. The incident involved a Chevrolet Trax making a left turn from Eastwood MetroPark onto Harshman Road without giving the right of way to a motorcycle, leading to the collision. Harshman Road had to be shut down for about 3 hours after the crash. The motorcycle's driver and passenger were thrown from the vehicle and taken to the hospital. The 42-year-old male driver is in stable condition with serious injuries that are not life-threatening, while the 35-year-old female passenger remains critical. The SUV driver, a 28-year-old woman, was unharmed but is suspected of driving under the influence. She has been arrested and taken to Montgomery County Jail. Detectives from the Dayton Police Department's Traffic Services Unit are investigating the incident.
