Two individuals hospitalized following collision in Pelham, according to authorities

Two people were hospitalized following an afternoon crash in Pelham on Thursday, as reported by local police. The incident occurred at the intersection of Sherburne Road and Waterside Drive around 5:30 p.m., prompting several 911 calls. Responding officers found a Ford Mustang, driven by a 60-year-old Pelham resident, and a Mercedes SUV, driven by a 62-year-old Nashua resident, both extensively damaged. The Mustang driver was transported to Lowell General Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the Mercedes driver was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Authorities stated that the Mustang, traveling eastbound, veered across the centerline into the opposing westbound lane, resulting in a collision with the Mercedes. An investigation is underway with charges expected, leading to traffic disruption on Sherburne Road for approximately two hours.
