 
                                              
                                            Two arrested after crash in West Allis police chase into Milwaukee
West Allis police apprehended two individuals following a pursuit into Milwaukee that concluded with a collision on the night of July 29. The officers identified an unregistered vehicle suspected of being linked to a drug transaction. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle at approximately 7:15 p.m., the driver fled. The chase originated near 60th and National, proceeded onto Highway 175, and concluded in Washington Park when the vehicle crashed into a fence. Subsequently, the 57-year-old male driver from Milwaukee attempted to flee but was apprehended, while a female passenger remained near the vehicle and was also taken into custody. The West Allis police will be pressing charges against the driver including fleeing from an officer, second-degree reckless endangerment, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of THC with intent to distribute, to be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
